Hi all, Bill here
I know this may be short notice, but an American
birdo by the name of Albert York is visiting Melbourne (and indeed Australia)
for the first time this weekend, and would like to take a trip somewhere.
I'd take him out myself, but I'm not in Melbourne
this weekend, unfortunately.
Is anyone planning a trip to the Western Treatment
Plant on Sunday morning? Albert is going to be staying at a hotel in
Little Collins street, and has to be back by 3pm at the latest. This will
only give enough time for a lightning trip, but remember that nearly every bird
he will see on the day will be a lifer - I'd go just to see his reaction!
If required, I can let him into the secret and wond'rous knowledge of how to get
to Werribee station to be met there.
If the WTP isn't possible, a second preference is
the Dandenong ranges, as he is a delegate at a conference at Belgrave Heights
beginning at 4pm.
If anyone can help here, please let me know
directly.
Many thanks!
