Birders!Excitement at Mallacoota, Vic, Monday May 2, 2005 with a White Wagtail, thought to be race leucopsis. Actively feeding on large sand island, viewed from Camp Ground, overlooking river entrance. First spotted by Bob Semmens. Seen again several times Tuesday May 3, by Bob Semmens, Michael Perry, Sue Romane and Barbara Jones. Latest sighting was 5pm Tuesday in fading light, still actively feeding. The sand flats are not greatly affected by tidal movement, with feeding areas available all day..
