Syd, the Satin Bb in my garden (SEQ, 500m) uses blue salvia flowers
around his bower, and the odd Rosella feather, as well as a rage of
blue plastic objects. When dancing/performing for the female, or in
tutorials, he holds in his beak pale/yellow objects, such as a winged
seed.
I have yet to see another bird's body brought down by him. Cheers, Judith. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Judith L-A S-E Qld ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
