Last week I went on a 6-day trip up to the Murray-Sunset and across to Chiltern.  133 species, and 7 lifers.  Highlights were Black Falcon, Elegant Parrot and Orange Chat at Lake Tyrell, Mallee Emu-wren and Owlet Nightjar at Pink Lakes, Striated Grasswren, Purple-gaped Honeyeater and Spotted Nightjar in the Murray Sunset proper, Regent Honeyeater at the top of Klotz Track in Chiltern NP, and a flock of 40+ Swift Parrot at Honeyeater Dam in Chiltern N.P.

A full report (with piccys and a birdlist) for those who are interested, can be found at  http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=32232
