Hi All,There's an invasion of Noisy Friarbirds in Heathcote (Vic) in the area of the golf course. I have seen the odd Friarbird here before, but there are upwards of 20 at present. The trees in the area, which I think are predominately E.camaldulensis, appear to have something attacking them. Maybe this is the reason for the Friarbirds. I'll have a closer look at the trees next weekend. Any botanists going through Heathcote in the near future? Happy birding allMarlene. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
