We relocated the 2 immature OBP’s in the T-Section lagoons at the Western Treatment Plant, Werribee today.  We had great views as they perched on a Dockweed and we were able to confirm that both birds had an emerald green band on the left leg and a black band on the right leg.  Both black bands seemed to have white letters or numbers on them, but they were not decipherable as we were viewing the band from behind.  I am not sure viewing the band from the front would make any difference, but it may.
