Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever recorded large numbers of
Little Eagles together before? We just has a large group of raptors
flying over the mangroves here that conservatively had about 20 light
and dark morph Little Eagles, and possibly as many as 24 (the others
could have been juv Brahminy, it was hard to pick individual birds
from the mass). I've never seen anything like it before. We also had
nearby 4 adult Brahminy Kites, 2 juv and 2 adult White-bellied Sea
Eagles, 3 Black Kites, a Whistling Kite, and an Osprey, so it was
raptor heaven this afternoon. Interestingly, a large flock of
White-breasted Woodswallows was also hawking through the area with the
raptors.

Regards,
Chris - Broome
