Hey Guys,
I am heading down to Ballarat for a week and hope to spend a day or two birding. Its my first visit down south and would appreciate some directions on a few birds. Firstly, is it best to go to Melbourne Botanic Gardens for all the intro. birds such as Greenfinch etc.. Is it to early to track down an Orange-bellied Parrot? If anyone could give me some locations for Blue-winged Parrot, Rufous Bristlebird, Striated Fieldwren and Pink Robin that would be great. Any info would be appreciated for this part of the world. Email me direct please.
Thanks Steve Roderick.
Go the Brewers!
