The maps open on Apple's Safari just as well as they do on
Explorer

In case you are not aware the Gold Coast City Council has an accessable Database covering both Fauna and Flora for the Gold Coast Shire. (1400 Sq kilometres) This data base has its own 'search engine' and include maps of locations for individual species.
