The Birds
Australia Broome Bird Observatory
is one of the world's top locations for observing migratory
shorebirds. We are a not for profit
research, education and nature based tourist facility positioned on the shores
of beautiful Roebuck Bay, around 25 kms from Broome. The Observatory
is the ideal place for relaxing and taking in what are some of the world's
greatest sights in nature. The birdlife in the surrounding area is high in
both richness and abundance, with over 300 species occurring in the
locality.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic
person to work as part of a team
assisting the Warden in the day to
day operation of the facility. The contract for this position
commences on Friday, June 10, 2005 and concludes on September 30, 2005.
Magnificent scenery,
stunning wildlife and the opportunity to effectively participate in the growing
eco-tourism industry of the Kimberley region awaits the successful applicant.
