The Birds Australia Broome Bird Observatory is one of the world's top locations for observing migratory shorebirds. We are a not for profit research, education and nature based tourist facility positioned on the shores of beautiful Roebuck Bay, around 25 kms from Broome. The Observatory is the ideal place for relaxing and taking in what are some of the world's greatest sights in nature. The birdlife in the surrounding area is high in both richness and abundance, with over 300 species occurring in the locality.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person to work as part of a team assisting the Warden in the day to day operation of the facility. The contract for this position commences on Friday, June 10, 2005 and concludes on September 30, 2005.

Magnificent scenery, stunning wildlife and the opportunity to effectively participate in the growing eco-tourism industry of the Kimberley region awaits the successful applicant. Applications close on April 20.
