On 14-3-05 on Casino-Kyogle rd just south of Rosebank school one ostrich was seen in open paddock on the western side of the road. area was fenced with common garden variety 4 strand wire cattle fence. Nearest house possibly 1 km distance. I have not previously seen them in area. Escapee or pet?
