This morning I heard a Cicada Bird in the Freemans Waterholes area (west of
Lake Macquarie).

Hi Birders,
I too have seen a few late migrants this week. A lone immature Dollarbird
was sitting on the overhead wires at Budgewoi on 6/4, and a Rufous Fantail
was in a patch of Alluvial Blackbutt Forest at Bensville on 8/4.
While Olive-backed Orioles seem to have deserted the Central Coast of late I
have found them in four different Alluvial Blackbutt sites in the past three
days, all regularly calling, although not as strong as when they first
arrive in spring.
