This time of the year is often good for Pec’s turning up in Sydney/Hawkesbury/Newcastle as I have experienced in the past. Most of my sightings of Pectoral Sandpipers in the Hawkesbury have been in later March/early April. It is also a good time to look for other rarities on the move!

Gaday All, for those interested there was a male Pec at Bushells Lagoon yesterday arvo,it was just starting to get the marbling on the lower breast region. A new species for many of the CBOC club members attending the outing. A great finish to a great day where we recorded 92 species
