Aus_Birders:

Yesterday morning (22/3) we decided to go to the Murray Mouth viewing area
on
Hindmarsh Is to find the Rock Parrots reported over the past several weeks
near the end car park. We ended up seeing 20+ birds in the succulent bush
approaching Mundoo Channel. Noticed some quite variable plumages among the
birds studied, presumably due to birds moulting and immatures present.

Not many shorebirds in the area but did see 7 Pacific Golden-Plovers all
coming into breeding plumage, 2 Common Greenshanks and a few Red-necked
Stints.
