Hi Philip, Janet, Tony and all,

Regarding the capability of Tawny Frogmouths able to perch on wire, it is a little surprising considering their feet.
Back in the 1990's I spent a couple of nights at the caravan park at Lake Keepit near Manilla N.S.W. There were two frogmouths hunting off the clothes hoist each night. They were able to return to the hoist from the ground without difficulty. Haven't thought about that for years.

Thanks folks for jogging my memory.

Regards, Del. Richards.
