Can anyone help Ben?

Please contact him directly on

It has webbed feet and a beak. Its brown on the head and has a white
stripe under its eye line. We think its a baby. Have no idea, but some

sort of banded stilt, turn, dog bird?? or crane or the closest thing we
can find is an Australian bustard 'ardeotis australias' We are located
on 3 rivers station, 200kms North of Meekatharra. Can someone contact
me on 0899 810 154?
