Hi All.
We got rid of the Mynas around our house at Avoca Beach by
blocking off two openings into the roof space where they nested. The two
families just disappeared from the vicinity, although an occasional bird
would return to inspect the sites for a few weeks. There is probably plenty
of similar scope for other NIMBYs in Myna infested areas.
                                                      Cheers
                                                              Michael

(NIMBY = Not In My Back Yard)
