Please help the organisers of the 2005 Australasian
Shorebird Conference?
The convenors of the 2-yearly Australasian Shorebird Conference
are asking everyone who might be interested in attending this years Conference,
11-13 December 2005, in Nelson, New Zealand, to let them know ASAP so
that they can decide on a suitable sized venue they need to book in advance.
They need to get a rough idea of numbers.
The ASC will follow on from the Australasian Ornithological
Conference, also being held on the South Island of New Zealand. There will be
plenty of opportunities to take part in organised field trips to look at New Zealand’s
unique birds before and after the conferences.

interested in giving a talk
There is some information on the osnz website (www.osnz.org.nz) but we will have a lot more up
there in a week or two. The program already looks excellent, and is only
half full. If anyone would like to give a talk, please let Phil Battley know.
Please forward this message to
anyone you think might be interested.
Many thanks!
