ku-ring-gai NP honeyeater query

hi all
i spent a morning walking the basin and mackerel beach trails at ku-ring-gai NP north of sydney on sunday morning. it was overcast and fairly quiet after a raucous dawn chorus.
there were a few honeyeaters about: white-cheeked, new holland, brown-headed and a mystery bird which i at first thought to be new holland (similar size, shape) but it was white underneath. i was almost directly below it so my view was partially obscured. 
i thought it may be a tawny-crowned but simpson and day appears to show it with a black streak on the chest (not present).
they're not on the NPWS list for ku-ring-gai but i know they're seen at royal NP. the habitat here (heath, low scrub) is similar. 
not claiming it but curious. has anyone seen them here?
also saw a channel-billed cuckoo back at the basin.  
others seen: superb lyrebird (2 males), little wattlebird, little friarbird, white-breasted sea eagle, whistling kite and the usuals. 
wife priscilla saw yellow-tailed black cocatoos and beautiful firetails seperately.
sadly, some of the resident wood ducks at the basin camping ground are missing one or two feet. one female walks on the backs of its knees, using its stumps as makeshift feet.
