Hi All, No doubt that the NPWS needs more money, but it would be interesting to know how much they make out of licencing photographers (not including TV and films), and how much it costs to collect the money and monitor compliance. Bureaucracy is expensive; are the licencing fees just employing clerks or actually contributing to NP upkeep? Can anyone who knows tell how much a single good bird photo would bring if published in a magazine like Australian Geographic, and what kind of demand actually exists for Australian bird photographs?
