Hi
Everyone
At last
the Broome Bird Observatory has just launched its new website at http://www.broomebirdobservatory.com. Whilst enjoying
our new site we also extend our gratitude to Allan Burbidge,
who created and webmastered our previous site for many
years.
The current site is aimed as much at
attracting international birders as it is for our local friends and local
tourism industry. It also takes advantage of the gorgeous scenery up here which
serves as a fitting backdrop for the amazing and beautiful migratory waders of
Roebuck Bay. Our thanks go to celebrated wildlife photographer Jan Van der
Kam for releasing images for use on the site.
I shall shortly be adding a section on
sightings of interest but will also keep birding-ausers up to date with postings
to this list.
Happy Birding
