Further to Reid's note about Common Mynah's (extending their range into the
north of Victoria).

My contact at Chiltern (further up the Hume Highway north-east of
Wangaratta) commented that this species is almost always seen near the
roadside eateries at Glenrowan and that a Wangaratta person has been
shooting them to try and prevent the birds march to Wodonga.

The species is likely to be beyond Wangaratta and as far as Springhurst
now.

My colleagues at the Wodonga DSE office have recently undertaken a public
awareness raising project to try and limit the spread of this pest.
