We are spending a week in NZ at the end of March, travelling round
the northern half of the South Island. I would appreciate any advice
about good birding spots, species to look for, places to stay etc.
We have been to the North Island before, where we saw good birds on Tiritiri Matangi, but not much elsewhere. We didn't see many waders or seabirds. I am not sure about the time of year - is a pelagic trip possible/useful and if so where? I am asking ahead of time as it will be Easter and we wish to book some places early. -- Susan Knowles -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
