Hello Graham and others,

I looked for the snipe the other day without success. The main paddock where the snipe were getting seen is now virtually dry. However, by walking along the track that passes through the rainforest revegetation area you come out at a boardwalk and series of waterholes that look brilliant for snipe, crakes also. Having said that I saw very little of interest when I was looking. Still, my money would be on the snipe being in here somewhere.
