Subject: Political Outliers
Hi Birders,
I am only fairly new to birdwatching in this country (being from India)
but
have been fortunate enough to make many travels around Australia,
finding
many new birds for my growing Australian list. I am about to take a trip
to
Santiago, Chile, and was wondering if "political outlier" ticks include
Australian embassies in overseas countries, such as in Chile? I think
this
would be okay, as I understand that Australian species can be ticked in
places such as Christmas and Cocos Islands, and I think in some
Australian
territories in the Antarctic Ocean. These places are only linked to
Australia in a political sense (i.e. not an ecological sense), so this
is
why I am wondering.
Thanking you for any feedback,
GL
