2.1.05I have a report (from a non-birder on holiday) of unusual numbers of 'cormorants' washing up dead on Sunshine Beach (near Noosa, SEQ). At the moment I'm in Brisbane, so can't check this out, but a local might want to. Apparently also there's a rotting ?algal bloom washing in & out of Noosa beach, just around the headland.
