The other evening I asked Niven McCrie of Darwin whether there was anything of interest currently in the Top End. Nothing of note was the reply. When pressed, he admitted that there were 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 5 Ruffs & 8 Garganeys! He also advised that he had seen photographs of a male Northern Pintail taken about 'three weeks ago' at Parry's Lagoon near Wyndham, WA! He had passed the photos on to 'someone' in WA.
