There were 21 Cape Barren Geese at Paradise Road, 2 Black-tailed Native-hens
were at the Borrow Pits, and the Red and Great Knot previously reported by
Ken and Danny Rogers were still on the rocky spit near Beach Rd, although
there were only 6 Bar-tailed Godwits there today. Thanks Dave Torr.

A Rufous Fantail was seen in a private garden in Rupanyup. Thanks Ian
Morgan.
29 November
On the Maribyrnong River, upstream from the Canning St bridge, there was a
lone male Budgerigar feeding on grass seed heads near the ford below the
west end of Canning St (south side of the river). Given that it was on it's
own and in an area adjacent to suburbia, it is probably an escapee. It's
behaviour was somewhat more wary than might be expected for an escapee.
Thanks Jim Caine.
29 November
Numerous Satin Flycatchers were seen along Sailors Creek in Daylesford,
between Twin Bridges and Bryces Flat and a single Black Kite was seen over
the Western Highway at Bacchus Marsh, where it crosses the Lerdederg River.
