Hi all,
Had a brief cycle along the paths at Oxley Ck Common today, with some
success. It was more recreation than anything, however saw a
White-breasted Woodswallow harrassing an Australian Hobby (which was
most unimpressed - all but ignoring the attacks), and three Glossy
Ibis coming in to roost. I still haven't been to OCC without having
seen a Glossy Ibis, so obviously a good spot for them. With the
recent rains there is no mud exposed for waders or rails and crakes,
so nothing exciting to note there. Total birds seen: 24 in under a
half hour.
Regards,
Chris - Brisbane
