Of passing interest - Para in (Brisbane's) "The Courier-Mail" Dec. 11, p. 18, under the heading, "Top Fisher": "Greg Skilleter, a university of Queensland boffin who has researched the impact of professional and amateur anglers harvesting bloodworms and yabbies on foreshores, found there was another type of harvester that beat the fishing people hands down - eastern curlews. Skilleter reckons the ability of these birds to haul out yabbies has to be seen to be believed."
