Tom,

 In Cairns on the west of Centenary Lake freshwater lake in the drain
alongside Greenslopes Rd.

Along the Daintree River and Stewarts Creek.

On the Atherton Tablelands at this time of year they often turn up at the
end of Forsayth Rd. Follow the signs to Lavender Hill B&B and then continue
to the lake.
