Hi All A bit of a late report - can't remember who collects these but I'm sure they'll pick 'em up. A large number of WTNTs heading generally south feeding in a very dispersed, high ranging flock on Saturday 4.12.04 over Minnippi Parklands, Carindale, Brisbane, Qld (southern suburbs.) We guessed at 300+ - I would not be surprised if there were 500+ in fact. Conditions - still, cloudy, not stormy, only 8.30am and no storms have eventuated since (Tuesday 7.12) Raining later in the morning. -- Colin Reid So many birds, so little time...... -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
