There were 2 Ruffs
today at the Western Treatment Plant, Werribee. Richard Nowotny reported
one at the Conservation Lagoon on 170 South Road last Friday. I saw
it on the Sunday without being aware Richard had reported it (my computer
was sidelined with a virus). That bird was still there today and a second
was at the T Section Lagoons, on the first pond inside the gate. It is
easy to see because there were only about a dozen Sharpies to pick it out from
and it towers over them.
