Good morning all,
The following taxa and threats have now been formally added to the
Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act as threatened species (in Victoria) and also
to the list of potentially threatening processes. Please advise me
directly if you would like to see copies of the brief Scientific Advisory
Committee Final Recommendation Reports for any of these items.

1. Taxa
684 Magpie Goose
691 Grey Goshawk

2. Potentially Threatening Processes
650 'Wetland loss and degradation..'
664 'Inappropriate fire regimes...'

PS. People may also like to know that the following book was released
yesterday. I was at the launch at Yarra Bend (Melbourne) and purchased a
copy. It is a well-produced and written book.

cheers, Martin
