After more than 30 years of regular birding at the Western Treatment Plant at Werribee, I saw a new bird for my "Werribee Farm" list yesterday, an immature Black-faced Cormorant.  In fact we saw all 5 Cormorants plus Darter.  Black-faced Cormorant has been seen at the WTP before, but I have missed it.  Fred Smith told me he had seen it about 3 times and I know Chris Lester saw one in the relatively recent past (about 5 years ago??).  Curiously, it was sitting where where each of the other birds have been seen - on the 15east main drain outlet.
