Hi Craig and other birders, The reference to the 5000 Needletails on 27/1/1998 at Burrewarra Point, Moruya NSW was in the !998 edition of "Nature in Eurobodalla". The information is as follows: " Flocks regularly at Burrewarra Point max 5,000 on 27 Jan, 95,120 at Tuross Lakes on 5. 7 Jan, 100-200 at Potato Point, 50-300 at Tuross Heads, 6-10 Dalmeny, 8-22 Percy David Drive, Broulee in same month..." (Note that all these locations are in Eurobodalla Shire).
