So, on the weekend I sighted a flock of banded stilts down at Scarborough Beach, my local beach that I have been to many times before.  Banded Stilts were new on my list.

And yesterday at my regular haunt of Herdsman Lake I got another newie for my list - although I knew these birds WERE at the lake, finding them was just the problem.  I breifly glimpsed a pair of Spotted Crakes before the scuttled into the reeds.  I was quite impressed.

Who knows what I'll see when I go to the CALM camp down at Lake Muir?
