Hi,

thanks to everybody for pointing out the correct web-address of the
birding-aus archive and for sending me useful informations about the endemics
in Tasmania.

As usual it was worth to search the archive and I found many useful trip
reports there. It seems most people prefer Bruny Island and spots near
Hobart. Or may be that is just because most people arrive in Hobart?

I will start my trip in Devonport. I will most likely drive down to Hobart but
I am not sure if I will have enough time to go to Bruny Island. Apart from
some spots in the northern part of the Cradle Mountains I could not find much
information about possible locations in northern Tasmania or on the way from
Devonport to Hobart. It would be fantastic if somebody has tips or reports
for these areas.

Jesko
