Hi birders,

Just back from a quick visit to Penrhyn Rd, Botany Bay North (Sydney)........
Has an official go-ahead been given to the container terminal extensions??? If not, I'd like to know what's going on, i.e. a widening of the road, removal of vegetation, work encroaching the bay itself!?!
I suspect access will very soon be denied to the likes of us and also to boat-ramp folk. Not much left of parking area..........!!

A few Black-tailed Godwits there today, among the Bar-tailed (3+) - and I ALMOST imagined a Grey Plover (the golden flecks of the P.G.P. get greyer the longer you stare....!).

Cheers,
Peter Madvig
(PS. With a name like mine, there's no hiding).
