Vic-SA Mallee 04 Trip Report

We have just completed a two week trip, 23/10/04 to 4/11/04, from Melbourne
taking in the Eyre Peninsula.
There was not enough time to try for all our target species and subspecies
so we had a flexible itinerary which was dictated to some extent by the
weather.
The weather was initially hot with a dreadful numbers of flies, but a
change came so we drove from Vic to Ceduna while it rained and after that
the temperatures were mild and the flies were tolerable. It rained all day
on 4/11 as we drove home.
We visited Little Desert NP, Wyperfeld NP, Murray-Sunset NP, Yumbarra CP,
Eyre Peninsula including Lincoln NP and Hambidge CP, Whyalla CP, Mt Arden
Station, Telowie Gorge CP and Mt Rescue CP.

suited.
