Dear AussersI am visiting Antarctica 9-27 January 2005, and wonder if anyone has suggestions on the best field guide for the areas we will be visiting. Obviously I don't want to carry a heap of books, but we will embaring at Ushuaia, stopping at the Falklands, South Georgia, South Shetlands on the Antarctica peninsula, and returning to Ushuaia via Drake's Passage. I've got Peter Harrison's Seabirds revised 1985, but that's far too heavy to be used as a field guide. Any help will be much appreciated. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
