The information & photos in "A Field Guide to Australian Frogs" by Barker,
Grigg & Tyler is as good as you can get - although most species are
much more poorly known than any Australia bird.  I don't much like the
format though.  Local books can be more convenient, e.g. Ken Griffth's
"Frogs and Reptiles of the Sydney region" is good and takes up no room
in the day pack.
