Hi Neville

A couple of years back I wrote a note for the Qld Nats on the two thrushes
and went through all the Qld Museum specimens at the time.

There are only specimens of the Russet-tailed Thrush from Mt Glorious and
surrounds, but at Bunya Mtns and Lamington, at higher altitudes, both species
occur and can overlap.

A couple of years ago I saw a Zoothera thrush at the picnic ground on the right hand side of the road just past the Mt Glorious village. I suspect it to have been Russet-tailed (heinei). Can anyone comment on the relative abundance of lumulata and heinei in this location?
