Can any Brisbane local tell me what this call is, at about 5.00 AM:
        Clear, strong, melodious, mostly five-note song, going up and down the scale. Several birds exchange the song for, maybe, 15 minutes.
        Sky has been light since at least 4.30.
        ...Could Figbirds be making this song? But never at any other time do I hear them making a sound so loud and beautiful...
        Sorry not to be more specific, but I can't see the bird from my bed!

Also, I noticed that in the dawn chorus here in town the different species call in turn -
        In the bush/country, during the dawn chorus all different species will sing at the same time throughout the sunrise. But here one species sings, then the next, then the next, and so on.
