Gedday all,
I've just come back from WTP this morning after sucessfully finding the Ruff.
It was in the location as described previously by Peter Fuller and others -
that is Paradise Rd ponds, near the end of old boardwalk at the water's edge. I
observed it feeding along the waters edge from 7.15 - 8.00 slightly to the east
of the old boardwalk and then slightly to the west of it. At one stage it moved
into the grass behind that area and was briefly lost from sight. Shortly after,
it re-appeared at the edge of a flock of stints and sharpies.
There were also 7 Pacific Golden Plovers in various stages of post breeding
moult on The Spit.

Jim Caine
