Dear Birding-Aus Correspondents

Yesterday, while on Motupore Island (just South of Port Moresby) for three days
field work with my Marine Biology class we observed seven White-throated
Needletails on their way south. However, if they maintain their south-easterly
course they may be seen in NZ rather than Aus.

I am still interested in receiving all Needletail and Fork-tailed Swift Reports
(either directly or through Birding-Aus) and promise to get my annual report
out and onto Birding-Aus in the next few days.

Happy bird watching to you all.

Mike
