The angle was strange, Russ, but it seemed kind-of 'lazy' flapping,
and then the wingtips seemed swept back (like the classic drawing of
the start Peregrine stoop, but less pronounced).
Judith. Judith, My understanding is that it is only the Brown Falcon which hovers, not the Black. The dark phase(s) of the Brown can easily be misidentified as Black. Did you observe the flight pattern? Russ Lamb, Maleny, SEQ |
