I have been quiet on birding-aus lately, occupied with the birth of a
new daughter and other matters.
But I thought I should report that at last one pair of Dusky
Woodswallows appears to be residing in the fig trees beside the Cooks
River, just south of the bridge carrying the Princes Highway over it. I
never have time (or a parking spot!) to stop and investigate further,
but it is nice to see such a species so close to some of Sydney's
busiest traffic.
