Hi Birders
Thanks to those who responded to the request for volunteers on the 2004
Rufous Scrub-bird surveys.
For those who may still be interested, the surveys commence this
weekend. The confirmed dates for the next month are:
* Barrington Tops 1- 18-19/9/04 (meet Gloucester River campsite @
7am 18/9/04)
* Gibraltar Range 1- 21-22/9/04 (meet Mulligan's Hut @ 7am 21/9/04)
* Border Ranges 1- 25-26/9/04 (meet Sheepstation Creek campsite @
7am 25/9/04)
* Border Ranges 2 - 9-10/10/04 (meet Sheepstation Creek campsite @
7am 9/10/04)
* Barrington Tops 2 - 16-17/10/04 (meet Gloucester River campsite @
7am 16/10/04
The dates for the other three National Parks (Werrikimbe, New England
and Lamington (Qld)) and the second Gibraltar Range surveys have not
been confirmed. Likely to be from late-October to late-November. If
you are interested in these surveys, please contact me so i can include
you on the mailing list.
Remember, volunteers fuel, food, camping and some other expenses are
covered and you will be reimbursed for these.
For any further information regarding these surveys and/or information
on how to get to these National Parks, please contact me.
