I spent a couple of days in Forster this week. The weather was shocking with
40knot winds and rain. A pity, since it is a great birding area. From the
window of the apartment where I was staying, in the middle of town, I
noticed an Osprey nest with an adult and two nearly fledged chicks, who were
exercising their wings and moving about a lot. The nest was perched on top
of the mobile phone tower, and I could look right into it with my scope.

I have some pictures, and will e-mail to anyone interested.

Best wishes,

Nevil Lazarus
